Multi Jet Water Meter

Working Principle: Water enters through the inlet of the meter body, impacts the blades at the tip of the impeller, causing the impeller to rotate, and then flows out through the outlet of the body. The rotation of the impeller is directly transmitted to the central gear in the vacuum-sealed counter via magnetic drive. The sealed counter accumulates and displays the volume of water passing through the meter.

Accurate Measurement: Multi jet water meters have high precision in small sizes, usually ranging from 1/2" to 2". They are suitable for households, residences, and small light industry users. Inside, there are multiple flow ports surrounding an internal chamber, forming multiple water jets to impact the impeller. The rotation speed of the impeller depends on the water flow velocity, which enables it to measure accurately even at low flow rates.

Clear Reading: The water meter features a dry dial design, typically using a sealed dry counter. This prevents moisture and dust from affecting the internal components, ensuring that the dial remains clear and free from fog for long-term visibility.

Reliable Drive: It employs a magnetic drive that minimizes transmission resistance and includes magnetic shielding. This protects the water meter from interference caused by external magnetic fields, ensuring accurate and stable measurements.

Wide Application Range: The water meter is available in various body materials, including brass, stainless steel, iron, and plastic, to suit different environments and requirements. Additionally, there are several types of meters, including cold water meters, hot water meters, and super hot water meters, designed to measure water at varying temperatures. Generally, cold water meters operate at a temperature of ≤50°C, hot water meters at ≤90°C, and super hot water meters at ≤150°C.

Remote Functionality: Some multi jet water meters are equipped with integrated electronic counters, which can realize remote reading through communication protocols such as wireless M-Bus. Some also have long-term data recording functions, such as storing expiration values, monthly values, and daily values, facilitating data monitoring and management.

Application Scenarios: It is mainly used to measure the water consumption of cold and hot water through pipes in households, residences, or small light industry users. It is a commonly used residential water meter type worldwide.
